Deidre is the Digital Marketing Specialist at Vancouver Island Regional Library, (VIRL) is the fifth largest library system in British Columbia. They serve over 430,000 people on Vancouver Island, Haida Gwaii and the Central Coast (Bella Coola) through 39 branches. She also is the founder of Ampersand Social Media, working with Canadian companies to ensure their social aligns with their persona.
Nominated for the RBC Women of Influence in 2018, she is an energetic and genuine speaker with a passion to educate and inspire people to create ‘Social for Good”.
Most of her free time is spent chasing waterfalls around Vancouver Island with her partner, any number of her half-dozen children and a few puppies in tow.
